In March 2011, Bayside Council recommended that the Draft Open Space Strategy be made avaliable for public comment. Click here to download a copy of the Draft Open Space Strategy.

We want to know your views on the draft Open Space Strategy. Specifically, we want to know the following:

• Do you agree with the open space planning principles that will guide Council decision making and priority setting for open space?
• Do you agree with the approach taken in developing an open space classification system?
• Do you agree with the open space inventory and the way that each site has been identified?
• Do you think that the proposed functions, listed below accurately define the activities that are undertaken in open space?

• Children's Play
• Social/ Family Recreation Area
• Gardens
• Sporting Activity
• Relaxation, Contemplation and Escape
• Flora and Fauna
• Bicycle/ Walking Trail Corridor
• Space for Dogs
• The Foreshore

• Do you agree with the Strategic Directions and the priorities and actions for our open spaces that are recommended?
